Not a design agency with a magazine service attached. Magazines, annual reports and the publications that behave like them — that is the whole list, and it is deliberate.
Why this exists
There is a gap between two things that both exist in plenty. On one side, software that will let you build a magazine yourself, provided you have the time and the eye. On the other, design agencies that will make you one beautifully for the price of a small car.
In between sits almost everybody: a company with a story worth publishing, a folder of photographs, someone internally who can write, and no designer with a free fortnight. That gap is the whole of our business.
So the offer is narrow on purpose. You supply the raw material, we supply the craft, and the price is published so you can decide in thirty seconds whether to keep reading.
How we work
Every issue is designed by a person. There is no template engine behind this and no AI laying out your pages — which is also why we take a limited number of projects at a time and will tell you if the month is full rather than quietly running late.
You see the whole issue as a proof, not a moodboard, because approving a concept and approving a magazine are very different acts and only one of them prevents surprises.
We do not use stock photography in client work. If an image is not yours, it does not go in your magazine unless you ask for it and license it.
Who you are contracting with
DigiMagz is the trading name of Baidehi Ravanari Atelier, based in Pune, India. We work with clients worldwide, in English, by email, and quote in US dollars.
Being in Pune is what makes the pricing on this site possible, and we would rather say so on the About page than have you work it out from an invoice. The work is not cheaper because it is worth less; it is cheaper because our costs are.
