Pricing

Published, so you can rule us out in thirty seconds.

Most design studios make you ask. We would rather you knew now — if these numbers are wrong for your budget, neither of us should spend a week finding out.

Per issue, in US dollars

  • EssentialStarts $700 onwards12–16 pages
  • StandardStarts $1,600 onwards24–32 pages
  • FlagshipStarts $3,500 onwards40–60 pages
  • PersonalStarts $350 onwards8–12 pages
  • Retainer15% below listFour issues a year

Every project is quoted before it starts. Prices are per issue, in US dollars, and include two rounds of revisions. They are starting prices: a 32-page issue of dense financial tables costs more than a 32-page issue of photography, and we will tell you which yours is before you commit.

What the price covers

  • Cover design, including alternates to choose from
  • A grid and type system for the issue, reusable in later issues
  • Full layout of every page, cover to back
  • Colour correction and cropping on your supplied photographs
  • Charts redrawn from your figures where the issue needs them
  • Two rounds of revisions after the first full proof
  • Print-ready PDF, web-optimised PDF, and social cover images

What it does not cover

  • Original writing

We edit, cut to fit, and rewrite headings and captions. We do not write features from scratch.

  • Photography

You supply the images, from your own library or your own photographer. We treat what you send.

  • Print buying

You receive a press-ready PDF. A printer local to you will beat anything we could arrange remotely.

  • Font licensing

Where your brand requires a licensed typeface, the licence is bought in your name, not ours.

  • Revisions beyond the second round

Quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly — it is the only way the first price stays honest.

The retainer

If you publish quarterly, the first issue is the expensive one. It buys a grid, a type system and a set of templates that every later issue reuses — which is why four issues booked together come in around fifteen per cent below the list price of four separate ones.

It also fixes the thing that actually kills periodicals, which is not cost but momentum. A booked slot in the calendar is the difference between four issues a year and one.

Retainers are invoiced per issue, not up front, and can be stopped after any issue. We would rather keep the work by doing it well.

Paying us

Quoted in US dollars against a written scope. Fifty per cent to start, the balance before final files are released. Bank transfer, with details on the invoice.

There is no subscription, no per-page charge and nothing that renews on its own. You commission an issue, you pay for that issue, you own the files.

Questions about any of this before enquiring are welcome at magz@digi.ai.in. The process page covers timing and revisions.
