How we work together, in writing.
These terms apply to every project DigiMagz (Baidehi Ravanari Atelier, Pune, India) takes on, alongside the written quote for that project. Where the quote and these terms differ, the quote wins.

01Quote and scope
Every project starts with a written quote that sets out the format, the extent, what is included, the price and the delivery date. The quote is fixed once you accept it. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it.
Prices are in Indian rupees; any US dollar figure is a guide for clients abroad.
02Payment
- 50% of the quoted fee is due before design work starts.
- The balance is due before the final files are released.
- Payment is by bank transfer. Bank charges on your side are yours.
03Revisions
Two rounds of revisions after the first full proof are included. A round is one consolidated set of changes from you. Further rounds are quoted before we make them.
04Your content and your responsibilities
- You confirm that you own, or have the rights to use, all text, photographs, logos, data and other material you send us, for the purpose of the publication.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply, including figures and names.
- You indemnify us against claims that arise from content you supply, such as copyright, trademark or defamation claims.
- You check and approve the final proof before files are released.
05Timing and delays
Delivery dates assume your material is complete when the project starts and that you return feedback when agreed. If content or feedback arrives late, the delivery date moves by at least the same amount.
06Intellectual property
- On payment in full, you own the final files for the issue we delivered.
- We may show the work in our portfolio and on our site unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Templates and grid systems we build for your publication may be reused for your later issues.
- Material you supplied remains yours throughout.
07Cancellation
- If you cancel before design work starts, we refund the advance less any costs already incurred.
- Once design work has started, the advance is non-refundable.
08Printing
We deliver press-ready PDFs prepared to the printer’s specification you give us. We cannot guarantee the results of third-party printers, including colour, paper or finishing.
09Liability
Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
