Annual report design

An annual report has a deadline that does not move, an audience that will judge the organisation by it, and — almost always — an internal team who have run out of time by the point design is due. It is the single most common reason people come to us.

The design work is specific: making dense financial tables legible, turning performance data into charts that survive being read on a phone, and giving the chair's statement a page that people finish. The cover matters more than anyone admits, because the cover is what gets forwarded.

What the price covers

  • Cover concept, plus alternates to choose from
  • Full narrative section layout — chair's statement, review, highlights
  • Financial tables set for legibility, not just for fit
  • Charts drawn from your figures, in your palette
  • Print-ready PDF, web-optimised PDF, and social cover images

Every project is quoted before it starts. Prices are per issue, in US dollars, and include two rounds of revisions.

Questions we get asked

Our figures are not final yet. Can we still start?
Yes, and you should. We build the report around placeholder figures and drop the audited numbers in at the end. Waiting for sign-off before starting design is the most common reason annual reports miss their date.
Can you build the charts, or do we supply them?
We build them from your spreadsheet. Charts exported from Excel rarely survive being placed in a designed page — wrong weights, wrong palette, unreadable at print size. Send the numbers and we will draw them properly.
How late can we make changes?
Two revision rounds are included, and figures can change right up to the second round. Beyond that we quote for additional rounds rather than absorb them quietly — it keeps the original price honest.
Do you handle printing?
We deliver a press-ready PDF that any commercial printer can accept, but we do not manage print buying. Your local printer will be cheaper and faster than anything we could arrange from a distance.

Tell us what you want to publish.
