Personal branding

Personal branding, built on a magazine in your name

Most personal branding agencies write LinkedIn posts. We do that too, but we start from a magazine with your name on the masthead: an issue each quarter that clients, patients, partners and peers keep on the desk and pass on, and a monthly letter in between.

It takes one hour of your month. We record a call, ask the questions your clients ask you, and draft everything from what you said, in your voice. You approve every word before anything goes out.

Or write to magz@digi.ai.in or WhatsApp +91 98605 96905.

  • A monthly letter of 2–4 pages, drafted in your voice from the call, as a PDF and a link
  • Eight LinkedIn posts a month, drafted from the call, the letter and the magazine, ready for you to post
  • A 12–16 page magazine every quarter, with your name as the masthead, print-ready and as a light PDF
  • Charts redrawn from your own figures, and your portrait or idea on the cover
  • A launch kit with every issue: about 10 social posts made from it, in your name and its design
  • Your approval on every word; we never invent your views, figures or stories

Every project is quoted before it starts. Prices are per issue (or per brochure or catalogue): in US dollars for clients outside India, in rupees for clients in India. Two rounds of revisions are included.

Ways to buy

  • Personal branding retainer

Monthly call, monthly letter, LinkedIn posts and a quarterly magazine

Minimum three months, then month to month. Everything is drafted by us from the call and approved by you. Printing is paid to your printer.

    From US$990 a month · ₹40,000 a month in India

  • Start with one issue

A 12–16 page magazine from one recorded call, to see how it works before a retainer

    From US$399 · ₹12,000 in India

  • Annual letter

    8–12 pages, once a year

    From US$249 · ₹8,000 in India

Who it is for

  • Founders and CEOs

A quarterly to customers, investors and the team: what you built, what you learned, what is next.

  • Doctors and clinics

A patient magazine under your own name, with advice people keep on the fridge and pass to their family.

  • CAs, lawyers and consultants

A client briefing that explains what changed this quarter and what you would do about it.

  • Coaches, speakers and teachers

An issue to hand out after a talk or send before a first meeting, so people know how you think.

  • Agri experts and scientists

Field notes for farmers, buyers and peers, in English, Hindi or Marathi.

How a month works

  • Week 1: the call

Forty-five minutes on a video call. We ask what your clients ask you this month, and record it.

  • Week 2: the drafts

Your letter and your LinkedIn posts, written from your own words, sent for your changes.

  • Week 3: approval

You correct and approve. Nothing goes out that you have not read.

  • Each quarter: the magazine

Three months of calls become a 12–16 page issue: your letter, one big idea, a practical page, your numbers and a case story. The first issue comes out in month three, which is why the retainer starts with a three-month minimum.

Who writes it

We do, from what you say. On this retainer, and only on this retainer, our editor drafts your letter, your posts and your magazine from the recorded call, in your words and your voice. Nothing is invented: no opinions you did not give, no figures you did not supply, no client stories without permission, and nothing is posted or printed until you approve it. We never ask for your LinkedIn password; you post, or someone on your team does.

Each client keeps the same editor, so we take on a small number of retainer clients at a time.

What goes in a magazine issue

  • Your letter

A signed page that opens the issue: what this one is about and why.

  • One big idea

A long essay or argument, the piece people forward.

  • Something useful

A checklist, a how-to or the five questions to ask, so the issue earns its place on the desk.

  • Your numbers

A page of figures from your own work, drawn as clear print charts.

  • A story

A client, patient or field visit told as a case, with permission.

  • What you got wrong

    Last year's calls, scored honestly.

For the UAE, the UK and the US

Priced in US dollars: US$990 a month for the retainer, or US$399 for a single 12–16 page issue, fixed in a written quote. Calls are by video at a time that suits you; we are in India, so drafts you ask for in the evening are often with you by your morning.

Closest samples

Studio specimens, not client commissions: two founders' quarterlies and their monthly letters, the two things the retainer makes. Jharokha is a Mumbai interiors founder's magazine in a luxury style; Field Heat is a Pune cold-chain founder's. The founders, their companies and every figure are fictional. All our work.

Web edition

The same issue can also be delivered as a web edition: an interactive digital magazine with text that fits any phone, video and links that work, and a reader report of opens, reading depth and time spent. One link to share by email or WhatsApp.

Web edition +US$99 (₹6,000 in India).

Issue launch kit

The posts that launch your issue, made from it and in its design, in your name and your voice: a cover reveal for the feed and stories, a LinkedIn carousel of the main idea, quote cards, a chart card and a note for WhatsApp, each with a suggested caption. Nothing on them mentions us.

Included with every quarterly issue on the retainer; on a single issue it is US$99 (₹6,000 in India) per issue.

  • Cover reveal post: her portrait, her name, the Jharokha cover and Issue 01 is out
  • First LinkedIn carousel slide: Quiet is expensive, with her name
  • Quote card with her black-and-white portrait and a line from her essay
  • WhatsApp card: a note from her with the cover, reply for the link
  • Last carousel slide: her portrait, Read Issue 01 of Jharokha, her signature
  • Chart card: where the money went, 52 per cent unseen, signed
  • Quote card over an evening room: time is the only honest reviewer of a room
  • Story frame: inside my first issue, the essay spread and her signature
  • Cover story frame with her name above the cover
  • Quote card: give your designer time at the beginning
  • Carousel slide: the most expensive thing we made last year was a wall
  • Story frame: five guesses from April 2025, marked

Questions we get asked

What does a personal branding agency do?
It helps an expert or founder become known for what they know: writing in their name, keeping it regular, and putting it where clients look. Most agencies do that with LinkedIn posts. We do it with LinkedIn posts, a monthly letter and a magazine in your name each quarter, all drafted from one call a month.
How is this different from other personal branding agencies?
The magazine. Posts scroll past in a day; a printed issue with your name on the masthead stays on a desk, gets passed to a colleague and is still there next month. The posts and the letter come out of the same calls, so everything says the same thing in your voice.
Do I have to write anything?
No. You talk for about 45 minutes a month on a recorded call, and we draft the letter, the posts and the magazine from what you said. You correct and approve every word. We never invent your views, figures or stories.
How much does personal branding cost?
US$990 a month (₹40,000 a month in India) for the retainer: a monthly call, a 2–4 page letter and eight LinkedIn posts every month, and a 12–16 page magazine every quarter, with a three-month minimum. A single issue without the retainer is from US$399 (₹12,000). Printing is paid to your printer, separately.
Is there a minimum term?
Three months, because the first quarterly magazine is made from three months of calls. After that it runs month to month and you can stop with a month's notice. If you would rather try us first, start with a single 12–16 page issue made from one call.
Can I send it on WhatsApp and LinkedIn?
Yes. The letter and every issue come as a light PDF and a link that opens on any phone. A web edition of the magazine, with a report of how many people read it and how far, can be added.
Is it a thought leadership magazine?
That is another name for it. Thought leadership magazine, personal brand magazine, expert newsletter, founder's letter: the idea is the same, one person's thinking published with care and on a schedule.
