Three steps, and no surprises in the middle.
Magazine projects go wrong in predictable ways: the copy arrives late and at the wrong length, the photographs are too small, and nobody agreed what 'finished' meant. This page says up front how we avoid each one.
The work
Step 01
Send us what you have
Copy, captions, photographs, your logo. A rough list of topics is enough to begin — we will tell you what is missing.
There is no brief template to fill in. Most projects start with a folder of images and a half-finished document. We read it, come back with the gaps, and agree an issue plan before any design begins.
Step 02
We design the issue
Cover, grid, spreads, typography, image treatment. You see a full proof of the whole issue, not a moodboard.
You get the entire publication laid out, cover to back page. Reviewing a real issue is far easier than approving a concept, and it stops the late surprises that make magazine projects overrun.
Step 03
You get the files
A print-ready PDF, a web-optimised PDF, and cover images sized for LinkedIn and email.
Delivered as files you own outright, with no platform subscription and nothing to log into. If you later want it printed, the press-ready PDF is already in your hands.
What we need from you
The offer is that you supply the raw material. These are the standards that make that work — published rather than assumed, because an unstated expectation is how a design job quietly turns into an editing job and the price stops being honest.
Photographs
At least 2000px on the long edge for anything intended to run large; 1200px for smaller placements. Originals, not versions already pasted into a document or sent through WhatsApp.
Copy
A single document per article, in Word, Google Docs or plain text. Rough is fine. Copy embedded inside slide decks or PDFs takes longer and costs more to extract.
Figures
The spreadsheet, not a screenshot of the chart. We rebuild charts so they hold up in print and on a phone.
Brand
Logo as SVG, EPS or PDF — not a PNG lifted from your website. Guidelines if you have them.
If what you have does not meet these, say so in your enquiry. In most cases the answer is that it is fine and we will work with it. It is better to know before the quote than after.
Timing and revisions
- First proof
- 10 working days
- Revisions
- Two rounds included
- Rush work
- Sometimes possible
From the point your material is complete, not from the enquiry. A short issue is faster; a 60-page report with late figures is not.
Collected as one consolidated set of comments per round. Further rounds are quoted rather than absorbed quietly.
Ask. If we cannot do it properly in the time you have, we will say so rather than take the work and disappoint you.
Working with us from anywhere
We work with clients worldwide and by email. There is no portal to log into and no software for you to learn — you send files however suits you, and proofs come back as PDFs anyone on your side can open and comment on.
The studio is in Pune, India, which is what makes the pricing on this site possible. We say it plainly because you should know who you are contracting with before you enquire, not after.
Everything is quoted in US dollars and invoiced before delivery of final files. Email us at magz@digi.ai.in if you would rather start with a question than a form.
