Web edition

Every issue, also an interactive digital magazine.

We design your magazine for print, and deliver the same issue as a web edition: an interactive online magazine that reads properly on a phone, plays video, follows links and tells you who read what. Included on Standard, Flagship and Book projects, so on every annual report and company magazine.

What your readers get

  • Text that fits the phone

Real text, set for the screen it is read on. No pinching, no zooming into a page built for A4.

  • Video and sound that play

A clip of the factory floor, the chair's message, a recipe step: embedded where the story needs it.

  • Links that work

Products, donation pages, booking forms and contact details are tappable, not printed.

  • Galleries you can swipe

A photo story becomes a gallery a reader moves through with a thumb, captions and credits included.

What you get: a reader report

  • Opens

How many people opened the issue, and from where they came: email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn.

  • How far they read

Which stories were reached, and where readers stopped. The page that loses them is the one to fix next issue.

  • Time spent

Minutes with the issue, not just a click. A real measure for a board or a sponsor.

  • What they tapped

Links, galleries and the contact button: the actions the issue was made to cause.

Counted without cookies and without names or email addresses. You get a short summary after each issue.

A digital magazine to share on WhatsApp

In India most magazines now travel on WhatsApp. A forwarded PDF is heavy, slow to open and unreadable without zooming; a web edition is one link that opens instantly on any phone, keeps its photographs sharp and counts every reader. It suits society and school magazines, company newsletters, Diwali issues and Marathi, Hindi or English digital magazines alike.

See The Tanvi & Arjun Chronicle, a wedding newspaper sent to every guest as one link.

Digital annual reports

A digital annual report (or interactive annual report) is the web edition of the annual report: the chair's letter, the year in numbers and the stories behind them, readable on a phone and shareable as one link. Charts stay sharp on every screen, the video message from the chair plays in place, and the reader report shows the board how many people actually read it.

It comes with every annual report we design, alongside the print-ready PDF. See the Panghat Foundation report for an example.

What it costs

Included on Standard, Flagship and Book projects: company and membership magazines, annual reports, alumni magazines and coffee table books.

An add-on at US$99 (₹6,000 in India) on smaller projects: personal and wedding magazines, brochures, newsletters, catalogues and company profiles.

Every price is on the pricing page. Questions: magz@digi.ai.in or WhatsApp +91 98605 96905.

Questions about the web edition

What is an interactive digital magazine?
A magazine published as a web page rather than a file: the text reflows to fit any screen, and the issue can carry video, sound, links and swipeable galleries. Our web edition is that, made from the same design as the printed issue, so the brand looks the same in print and on a phone.
How is a web edition different from a flipbook or a PDF?
A PDF and a page-flip viewer both show printed pages on a screen, so on a phone the text is too small and readers zoom. A web edition is built for the screen: real text, real links, video that plays, and pages Google can index. We still deliver the print-ready PDF.
Can I see interactive magazine examples?
Yes. Four of our sample issues are published both ways, as a flipbook of the printed pages and as a web edition: Noor, a couture magazine; Panghat Foundation, an NGO annual report; The Tanvi & Arjun Chronicle, a wedding newspaper made to be shared on WhatsApp; and Field Heat, a founder's own quarterly. Open them on your phone to see the difference.
Do you make digital annual reports?
Yes. A digital annual report is the web edition of an annual report: the chair's letter, the year in numbers and the stories, readable on a phone, with charts that stay sharp and a reader report you can show the board. It is included with every annual report we design.
Can we share the digital magazine on WhatsApp?
Yes, that is what it is made for. The web edition is a single link: it opens straight away on any phone, with no file to download and no zooming, and the reader report shows how many people opened it from WhatsApp. It works for magazines in English, Hindi, Marathi and other Indian languages.
What is an interactive annual report?
An annual report built to be read on screen: reflowing text, charts that stay sharp, the chair's video message in place and links to the full accounts. Ours is the web edition of the printed report, so both carry the same design and figures.
What does the reader report show, and is it private?
Opens, how far people read, time spent and what they tapped, counted without cookies and without collecting names or email addresses. You get a short summary after each issue.
What does a web edition cost?
It is included on Standard, Flagship and Book projects, which covers annual reports and company magazines. On smaller projects (personal magazines, brochures, newsletters, catalogues) it is an add-on at US$99 (₹6,000 in India).
Where is the web edition hosted?
On digimagz.com under your issue's own address, or on your own website or domain if you prefer; we set it up either way.
