A sustainability report is mostly data: emissions, energy, water, waste, people, safety and governance, year on year, against targets. Investors and rating analysts read it for the numbers; employees and communities read it for what the company actually did. The design has to serve both without hiding either.

BRSR report design for listed companies in India
SEBI requires the top 1,000 listed companies by market capitalisation to publish a Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR), set out against the nine principles of the National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct. The format is fixed and heavy with tables. We keep the required structure and wording intact and set it so it reads: consistent tables, clear section openers for each principle, and charts where the data allows, either inside the annual report or as a separate document.
We design the report; we do not prepare the disclosures, advise on compliance or provide assurance. Those stay with your company secretary, your ESG consultants and your assurance provider.
ESG and sustainability reports abroad
For companies reporting against GRI, ISSB or their own framework, we lay out the content index, indicator tables and narrative in one system, so the report can grow next year without a redesign. Quoted and invoiced in US dollars.
CSR reports
A CSR report shows what the company's social spending did: projects, partners, places and people reached. It reads more like an impact report than a compliance document, so it carries more photographs and stories.
Closest samples
We have not yet published a sustainability report sample. The closest are studio specimens: Panghat Foundation's 16-page annual report, which sets results against targets and charts its data, and the Kaveri Softworks annual report cover. All our work.

Questions we get asked
- Can you design our BRSR?
- Yes. We keep SEBI's required structure and wording and set the tables and principle sections so they read clearly, inside the annual report or as a standalone document. You supply the disclosures; we do not prepare or verify them.
- Do you write the sustainability report?
- No. We edit for length and fit and rewrite headings and captions, but the disclosures, figures and claims come from your team or consultants. We will flag anything that looks inconsistent between a table and a chart.
- How much does sustainability report design cost?
- From US$749 for 24–32 pages and US$1,290 for 40–60 pages for clients outside India (₹20,000 and ₹35,000 in India). A 12–16 page CSR or ESG summary starts at US$399. Every price is fixed in a written quote.
- Can the sustainability section match our annual report?
- Yes. When we design both, they share one grid, type system and chart style. If your annual report is designed elsewhere, send it and we match it.
- How long does it take?
- The first full proof arrives within 10 working days of the content and data being complete. Two revision rounds follow; figures can change up to the second round.
