Company profile examples: what goes on each page
A 12-page company profile taken apart page by page, with what each page is for, what a client looks for and how to make a profile people trust.
A company profile is read by someone deciding whether to trust you with work: a client before a tender, a procurement team comparing three firms, a partner after a first meeting. They are not reading for pleasure. They are looking for reasons to say yes, or reasons to cross you off.
Below is a company profile from our studio, taken apart page by page. It is a 12-page profile for Prakaar Engineering and Interiors, a fictional interiors and fit-out firm with offices in Pune and Dubai. You can turn every page of it.
What every company profile needs
- a cover with a clear promise;
- who you are, in numbers you can stand behind;
- a letter from the founder or managing director;
- what you do, service by service;
- selected projects, with the client, the size and the time taken;
- how you work, step by step;
- who you work for, and the standards you keep;
- your people;
- where to find you.
The cover: a promise, not a slogan

The Prakaar cover is one photograph of a finished interior at dusk and one line: "We build the rooms where work happens." It says what the firm does in words a client would use. A profile cover does not need the logo large; it needs to make the reader want to open it.
Numbers in the first spread

The first thing a client checks is whether you are big enough and steady enough. So the opening page sets the numbers large: year founded, people, projects handed over, area built, and the share of clients who came back. A small bar chart shows projects handed over each year.
The founder's letter faces it, signed, beside a portrait taken in the office.
Projects written as case notes

This is where most profiles go wrong: a grid of project photographs with no information. Prakaar gives each project the facts a client compares first, client, area and programme, and then two short paragraphs on what was hard about it. A buyer reading three profiles side by side can compare like with like.
How you work, as a timeline

"End-to-end project management" means nothing on its own. A timeline of six steps, with a bar for the weeks each one takes, shows how long a project actually runs. The facing page lists who the firm works for and the standards it keeps: certifications, safety record and insurance.
People and offices

Clients hire people, so the profile shows them: the team at work, how many people in each role, and the leaders by name. The last page gives both offices with full addresses, so a client in either city knows where to go.
What separates a strong company profile from a weak one
- Numbers before adjectives. "340 people, 612 projects" beats "a leading firm".
- Projects with facts, not just photographs.
- One accent colour, taken from the cover photograph and used for figures and headings. Prakaar uses a single copper.
- Real people, named, in their own workplace.
- A light PDF for email and WhatsApp, because most profiles are first opened as an attachment.
